WIN for KC First Timers Forum

Calling all first-time triathletes!
Join WIN for KC for an opportunity to learn more about the race and have your questions answered! Even if you've completed a triathlon before, this is a great review and a great way to learn about what to expect as a WIN triathlete! We will break down each portion of the race: swim, bike, run and transitions and have triathlon experts on hand to answer your questions. This is a great chance to calm some nerves and help you get an idea of what to expect.

Tri 101 with Peggy Donovan

Tri 101 is an introductory course on all things triathlon. Led by Ironman competitors Peggy Donovan, Allison Adams, and Tina Fleecs, Tri 101 will cover everything from swim technique to bike fit to brick workouts.

Garmin Training Rides

Join us for a group ride starting at Garmin Headquarters. Arrive early for the chance to borrow a Garmin device to see how far and how fast you rode. This is a 10-mile ride on streets with low traffic — all levels of riders are welcome

Run Clinic

Want to improve your 5K speed? Join KC Multisport for a special track workout just for WIN for KC Triathlon participants! Coaches will go over drills to incorporate into your training and provide participants with tips for injury prevention.

First Timer Training Group

Are you a first-time triathlete looking for a group to kick-start your training with? 
Every Tuesday and Friday morning, Barb Brown is leading a Triathlon Training group specifically designed for women that are either competing individually or as a part of a relay as a first-time triathlete at the WIN for KC Triathlon in 2014. The training is designed specifically for beginners!
